Create Account
Create a new hosting account, assign a package and IP, and (optionally) elevate the account to a reseller with its own package and IP pool. Available to root and resellers (with scoped limits).
What this page does
- Creates a new system account tied to a primary domain.
 - Applies a selected package (quotas/limits) and assigns an IP address.
 - For root: can set the account owner (root or a reseller) and enable reseller privileges with a reseller package and IP pool.
 - Shows a live progress dialog during provisioning and returns the final account details.

Who can use this
- Root: full access, can pick account owner, toggle “Reseller Privileges,” choose reseller package, and assign multiple IPs to that reseller (within package limits).
 - Reseller: can create accounts under their own ownership, within their account count and disk pool limits.

Prerequisites
- At least one account package exists to select.
 - At least one usable IP (shared or dedicated) is available for assignment.
 - Resellers must have remaining Accounts and Allocated Disk Space capacity.

Fields & behavior
- Domain name — primary FQDN for the account.
 - Account system username — auto-generated from the domain by stripping non-alphanumerics, lowercasing, and truncating to 30 chars; editable before create.
 - Email address — contact for the new account.
 - Account Password — you can paste your own or click Generate Password for a 16-character alphanumeric value; Show Password toggles visibility.
 - Account package — required. Root sees package owner tags; resellers see only their own packages.
 - Account IP Address — defaults to the shared IP; root can pick from all server IPs, resellers from their assigned IP list.

Owner & reseller options (root only)
- Account owner — choose root or a reseller.
 - Enable Reseller Privileges — turns the new account into a reseller. Requires:

- Reseller package — defines reseller caps (e.g., max IPs).
 - Reseller IPs — multi-select from available IPs; selection is limited by the package’s maxips. Shared IP is always available even if assigned elsewhere.

Reseller capacity widgets (reseller view)
- Accounts — shows current / allowed with a progress bar. Unlimited displays when applicable.
 - Allocated Disk Space — shows assigned MB / allowed MB with a progress bar. Unlimited shows as such.

Create & progress
- Click Create Account to start. A progress dialog updates live until it reaches Completed.
 - On success, the accounts tree refreshes and an Account Information panel appears with Domain, IP, Username, Password, and NS1–NS4.
 - Copy/save the password securely; it’s displayed for this step.

Validation highlights
- Domain should be a valid FQDN; avoid leading “www.” for the account name.
 - Username must be 1–30 lowercase alphanumerics (auto-generated accordingly).
 - Package is required; IP must be one of the available selections.
 - Reseller limits are enforced: if account count or disk pool is exhausted, the page shows an alert and disables creation.

Common states & errors
- You have reached the maximum number of accounts allowed. — increase reseller package limits or remove accounts.
 - You have reached the maximum disk space allowed. — free space by reducing account quotas or expand the reseller pool.
 - No packages found — create an account package first.
 - No available IPs — add or free up IP addresses; for resellers, assign more IPs in their reseller package.

Tips
- Keep usernames concise and aligned with the domain; it simplifies paths and logs.
 - Use the shared IP unless you need a dedicated one for SSL isolation or reputation management.
 - For white-label, create a reseller account with its own package and IP pool, then have them create their customer accounts.

Note: The final panel shows credentials once. Store them securely, and rotate the password after first login if policy requires.
